Fresh Water Fishing

Our trips specialize in fall salmon and sea-run cutthroats. We have awesome fall fishing for large tackle straining chinook, coho and chum salmon. Our nearby river systems also feature winter steelhead, brown trout and rainbow trout. The fishing destination, equipment and catch for the day are chosen by the guide based upon weather, specific conditions and guest safety considerations. We are happy to customize your adventure with jet & drift boats or walk-in excursions to remote pristine wilderness rivers.

We supply all gear such as waders, boots and jackets to ensure a comfortable day on the river. Fishing licenses and taxes are extra. On our river trips, we use techniques and instruction for fly fishing, drift fishing, spinning and spey.  Our freshwater adventures can accommodate 3 guests per guide.

Processing your catch

After an exciting day of fishing, all of the cleaning and flash freezing of your fish is fully taken care of by our expert team of fish processors. The cleaning and preparing of your catch will be handled in preparation for storage or shipping. You can bring your own 100 quart (or larger) cooler, or you can buy an insulated shipping container from the WCWR Store. These containers are allowed on most airlines.

Our shipping containers can hold up to 50 pounds of fish, so you can check it with your luggage for the flight home. If your travel plans include additional nights at a hotel before returning home, we recommend that you ask about storage for your fish cooler when you make your hotel reservations.
